How Hatch Scale Works: AutoCAD hatch patterns (stored in acad.pat / acadiso.pat) are drawn at 1 drawing unit by default. When you draw in model space at real-world scale, the pattern appears tiny unless you scale it up by the Scale Factor. Setting HPSCALE to your Scale Factor (SF) makes the plotted hatch look correct. For metric drawings, the acadiso.pat file already uses metric spacing — so the formula adjusts accordingly. The density multiplier lets you open up or tighten the pattern visually.
